Jennifer is 26 years old and resides in Cranbrook, British Columbia, Canada. She decided to write this book to inspire people to never give up hope. Along with writing, Jennifer also enjoys cooking and baking and taking long walks to get her “brain exercise”.
Jennifer’s motto of “nothing is impossible, if there is a will” proves that even though the doctors said she would never walk again, she has come a long way with her achievements. Learning French, Italian and basic American Sign Language, along with training to compete in the 2016 Paralympics for swimming, shows her determination to overcome obstacles.
Training at the gym and in the pool five days a week pushes Jennifer towards her goal for of bringing home a medal from the 2016 Paralympic games in Rio, and she is living by her own rule of “never settle for less than your best”. She has her heart, mind and body set on a gold!
The proceeds from sales of An Unexpected Miracle are being donated to the Make-A-Wish foundation, who granted a wish of her own to Jennifer, when she needed it most.
